1.000 Guineas at Newmarket

After yesterday´s dramatic race for the 2000 Guineas, today´s 1000 promises to be another thrilling race, with almost all the top 3yo fillies in Europe lining up in the field of 15. Cheveley Park Stud´s unbeaten pair Infallible (John Gosden/ Jimmy Fortune) and Spacious (James Fanshawe/ Jamie Spencer) will be representing the Newmarket area and both should go well, but this is another classic that could go abroad - to France, where Pascal Bary´s grey filly Natagora is trained. She has done nothing wrong so far, and her jockey Christophe Lemaire has an excellent record here. John Dunlop´s Muthabara (Richard Hills) is another serious candidate after her demolition job at Newbury, but reportedly met with a slight setback earlier this week. After yesteray´s result nobody will be underestimating the Irish challenge, with two runners each from Aidan O´Brien - Savethisdanceforme (Ryan Moore) and Kitty Matcham (Johnny Murtagh) - and Jim Bolger - Saoirse Abu (Kevin Manning) and Lush Lashes ( Kerrin McEvoy).
