Clive Brittain´s Kandidate (Neil Callan), unbeaten at this track, is the solid option here, but Brian Meehan´s Diamond Tycoon (Pat Smullen), not seen out since finishing 9th of 24 in the 2,000 Guineas last May, looks a big danger if he gets the trip. Neil Callan has another good chance with Philatelist for Michael Jarvis, very unlucky last time out, in the 11 furlongs handicap at 16.10, while Marco Botti can land a double in the sprint races with Tia Mia (Oscar Urbina) at 15.40 and Ceremonial Jade (Seb Sanders) at 17.50.
