Kick-off with the Prix Jean Boillereau

Paris-Vincennes, Thursday, 8 December: Vincennes starts the weekend with an eight-race programme. It will start with the Prix Jean Boillereau (1st race/13.50 h/90,000 Euro/2100 m), a `Course-A` race advertised for older European horses of the higher winning category.

First chances are given to Zaccaria Bar (Matthieu Abrivard), who currently celebrated a highly superior victory in the Prijs der Giganten in Wolvega. The Italian will have to face Copsi (Dominik Locqueneux). In his final season, the ten-year-old found great form once again, winning the Grand Prix du Centre-Est (Group 3) and later confirming the performance in the Prix du Languedoc (Group 3) when fourth ahead of Crack Money (Cedric Terry), Dexter Chatho (Charles Julien Bigeon) and Elite du Jiel (Francois Lagadeuc), who are again among his opponents. Barbro Kronos (David Thomain), running in France for the first time, won a higher-grade mares` race in Sweden in the summer and announced herself emphatically when fourth at Solvalla after a short break. Marcello Wibb (Christophe Martens) finished third in two similar tests in November. A full success for the Martens protégé was not to be long in coming. Fric du Chene (Paul Philippe Ploquin) repeatedly failed to break through to the front with maximum allowance. Today`s task looks comparatively easy. Heliade du Goutier (Gabriele Gelormini) deserves a hint as second in the Prix de Chenonceaux (Group 3).
