Leopardstown, Tuesday, December 27: Parallel to the Festival in Kempton, a four-day meeting with high-class steeplechase races is also taking place in Leopardstown, Ireland. Best race today is the Rewards Club Chase (3rd race/14.10pm/125,000 euros/3420m) with seven participants. High on the list are the horses of Willie Mullins, who saddles three in Chacun Pour Soi (Paul Townend), Blue Lord (Daryl Jacob) and Gentleman De Mee (Mark Walsh). The former finished second in Punchestown`s Champion Chase (Group 1) on his last appearance. Blue Lord currently won the Clonmel Oil Chase (Group 2), his second consecutive appearance. Gentleman De Mee drew off decently in fourth in the Tingle Creek Chase (Group 1), well behind the leaders. Thwarting the Mullins trio could be Captain Guinness (Rachael Blackmore), who attracted attention with a Group 2 win at Navan. Good class Andy Dufresne (Jack Kennedy), Coeur Sublime (B. Cooper) and Jeremys Flame (Keith Donoghue) complete the field with outside chances.
