Two Irish meetings today, but none of the highlights experienced at Leopardstown the last 3 days. However the Grade Three mares novice chase at 13.45 CET at Punchestown is quite an interesting event. Both Back of the Pack (Colin Kidd/ Mark Darcy) and Inch Native (DP Murphy/ Andrew McNamara) have won their last two races and should be able to hold their own in this grade, but with the Willie Mullins/ Paul Townend team is such terrific form this week, we go for their candidate Blazing Tempo. Mullins and Townend also have chances with Secant Star in the hurdle race over 2 1/2 miles at 14.45. However this one, off the track since January, will need to improve to beat the useful Jumbo Rio (Edward O´Grady/ McNamara), who is not far off top class over hurdles and loves heavy ground.
