There is also racing this afternoon at Bath and Kelso in Scotland. While Bath is not quite as tight as Chester, it is still a tricky track and course specialists have a big advantage. For this reason we expect oldtimer Siena Star (Stef Liddiard/ Micky Fenton) to run well in the 10 furlongs handicap at 16.45 CET, as he has shown good form here. The ex-Germans Artreju and Tyrana are now on very lenient marks and could run into the places; both finished 4th on the all-weather last time out. Another 11yo Nawamees (David and Richard Evans) has chances under top-weight in the 1 1/2 mile handicap at 17.20; German-bred Terminate (Ian Williams/ Tadg O´Shea) is also a possible for a place here. Another ex-German with prospects today is Solis (Peter Monteith/ Ryan Mania), who runs in the conditional jockeys novices handicap hurdle at 16.30 at Kelso; he has top-weight here, but the opposition is not strong and he showed his best form for a long time last time out. Ex-German Snake Charme r also has chances here in the main feature, a novice chase over 3 miles 1 furlong at 15.55, but at these weights Reel Charmer (Alistair Charlton/ Jan Faltjesek) is preferred.
