Group 2 riding in Vincennes

Paris-Vincennes, Friday, 2 June: Saddle trotters are in focus today on the Plateau de Gravelle. In the Prix Lavater (2nd race/19.33/120.000 Euro/2700 m) four-year-old mares and stallions are addressed. Jasper des Charmes (Eric Raffin) pulled off brilliantly in the Prix Henri Balliere (Group 2) as second to J`Adore (Alexis Collette) and should take the win. Just Lovely (Alexandre Abrivard) earned her oats in smaller tasks so far, but showed that she can also hold her own at today`s level. Junon du Leard (Paul Philippe Ploquin) and Jelyson (Adrien Lamy) have been in quite different battles, but are currently in a slump of form.


The one-year-old is under order in the Prix Victor Cavey (4th race/20.25 pm/120,000 Euro/2700 m). Judging by the result in the Prix Jean Gauvreau (Group 2), Intuition (Adrien Lamy) cannot avoid being the favourite. In second place she was better than Inbreed (Alexis Collette), Ina du Rib (Jean Dersoir) and Idea des Vallons (Guillaume Martin), who are also eligible for a better placing. Ies We Kann (Eric Raffin) and Inshore (Alexandre Abrivard) convinced in the Prix Louis Forcinal (Group 2).
