Chantilly, Monday 17 April: The new week begins at Chantilly with nine races around the Group 3 Prix Sigy (3rd race/15.00/80,000 Euro/1100m), which has not failed to have its appeal from abroad.
Trainer Karl Burke sends Marshman (Clifford Lee) into the race. At the highest level in the Middle Park Stakes the stallion finished fifth, in the Gimcrack Stakes (Group 2) it was enough to finish second. Wodao (Gavin Ryan), Whistle And Flute (Christophe Soumillon) and Disillusion (Ricardo Ferreira) proved at List level that they belong to the extended top of the crop. They are among the closest favourites as well as Vicious Harry (Maxime Guyon), who earned good money from all Group levels last year. Denver Chop (Mickael Forest) did nothing wrong here in the Critérium de Maisons-Laffitte (Group 2) as fourth. Ciao Pa` (Pierre Bazire) and I Am Incredible (Aurelien Lemaitre) are in good form and are to be expected to surprise.
