Super Saturday in Meydan

Meydan, Saturday 4 March: Today`s Super Saturday at Meydan leaves nothing to be desired as almost all eight races (with the exception of the introductory Arabian and the Ras al Khor) have Group and Listed status.

The third round of the Al Maktoum Challenge (6th race/15.25/450,000 $/2000 m/Dirt) could be a haul for Bendoog (James Doyle). He was defeated only by the unbeatable Algiers in round two and in the Carnival opener in January he had to acknowledge Salute The Soldier (Adrie de Vires) and Atletico El Culano (Jose da Silva) ahead of him. The reckoning should not be made without Law Of Peace (Tadhg O`Shea). Last year`s series winner could definitely please when finishing fifth in the Firebreak Stakes (Group 3). Kafoo (Dane O`Neill) and Quality Humor (Ray Dawson) gained enough condition here and are capable of a surprise.

It continues on a classic level in the Jebel Hatta (8th race/16.45 hrs/350,000 $/1800 m/Turf). A win for the hosts of Godolphin is on the cards. Master Of The Seas (William Buick) should have the best cards with a recent winning performance in the Zabeel Mile (Group 2) over Shelir (Jason Watson) and I Am Superman (Pat Dobbs). Real World (Daniel Tudhope), who lost twice to Baaeed last year, is again targeting the Dubai World Cup (Group 1), in which he finished second last year. Valiant Prince (James Doyle) has not yet lost a race this year. The Dubawi son has what it takes to beat everyone.
