Il Est Francais still on course for success?

Auteuil, Sunday, 26 March: The obstacle mecca in Auteuil is again the venue for eight top-class obstacle competitions today. In the Prix Hypothese (2nd race/14.33 h/135,000 Euro/3900 m) seven hurdle specialists are under order.

Theleme (Gaetan Masure) and Hermes Baie (Bertrand Lestrade), who won the Prix d`Automne (Group 1) and the Prix Carmarthen (Group 3), will meet again. Under maximum weight they meet again Folsom Prison (Jeremy da Silva), who finished fourth in those tests far back. They will have to beat Il Est Francais (Jonathan Burke), who is used to winning. Currently, the gelding won the Prix Juigne (Group 3) against the stubborn Kapteen (Nicolas Gauffenic) as well as Hermes Baie, Goa Lil (Ciaran Gethings) and Spirit of The Moon (Ludovic Philipperon), who finished next in clear distances.
