`Cornulier`-Revanche in the Prix-de-I`Ile-de-France

Paris-Vincennes, Sunday, 5 February: Two weeks after the decision in the Prix de Cornulier, the Plateau de Gravelle will host the Prix de I`Ile de France (4th race/15.15 h/200,000 Euro/2175 m), with the victorious Flamme du Goutier conspicuous by her absence.

The honourably defeated Granvillaise Bleue (Camille Levesque) and Hanna des Molles (Alexandre Abrivard), who also ran well in third place, thus share the role of favourites. A look at last year`s results reveals the drop in form of Freeman de Houelle (Benjamin Rochard), who made short work of Granvillaise Bleue twelve months ago, but is currently only a follower. Vaprio (Nathalie Henry) and Zarenne Fas (Mathieu Mottier) exceeded expectations in the `Cornulier` behind the top trio and Hirondelle du Rib (Jean Dersoir) also performed well in sixth. Happy and Lucky (Adrien Lamy) fell short, but with the running in the Prix Bilibili (Group 1) behind the winning Hanna des Moles, things should be possible again.
