Cleo d`Argent with chances of winning

Cagnes-sur-Mer, Monday, 20 February: The flat meeting on the Riviera is slowly coming to an end. Today there are eight races on the programme. The Prix de Porquerolles (3rd race/12.50 h/26,000 Euro/2150 m) has an interesting line-up. Six three-year-old horses are competing in the `Classe 2` test and half of them are saddled by Jean-Claude Rouget, who is also the favourite with the recently victorious Valsad (Cristian Demuro), Lodovico (Enzo Crublet) and Iznik (Coralie Pacaut). Perhaps Back To Black (Maxime Guyon) could steal the show from him. The Vermeulen protégé won here in strong style on 30 January.

Two German chances can be identified in the Prix de Bormes-les-Mimosas (5th race/14.07 h/16,000 Euro/2400 m). Stefan Richter and Cleo d`Argent (Cristian Demuro), who ran well here twice, can expect a place in the front group. Marian-Falk Weissmeier`s Philippe`s Grey (Thomas Trullier) was second in Pornichet-La Baule and also seems to have good chances. Momo Nelson (Antonio Orani) and Eternal Optimist (Benjamin Marie), who finished ahead of Cleo d`Argent on 2 February, are favoured by the trade press.
