Wöhler with Bukhara in Lyon

Lyon-La Soie, Thursday, 5 January: An eight-race event will take place today at the Hippodrome in Lyon-La Soi. For the opening race in the Prix de Craponne (1st race/16.27 h/13,000 Euro/2400 m), Bukhara (Corentin Berge), trained by Andreas Wöhler, will compete against eight rivals in the Maiden class.

He was seen last year in the German Derby in Hamburg, where he played no part and finished last. Before that, in the Derby Trial, he was at least good enough for third place. Currently, the Isfahan son ran over sand in Chantilly and finished second. Today`s task looks solvable, but he must not allow himself any weakness against Toronet (Anthony Crastus), who has competed over hurdles so far.
