Timotheus and Wishuponastar in Chantilly

Chantilly, Tuesday, 15 November: The sand track is increasingly coming to the fore in France. Nine competitions are scheduled for today`s event in Chantilly, and German stables are represented in large numbers.

In the Prix de la Courtille (2nd race/11.55 h/27.000 Euro/1900 m) Timotheus (Aurelien Lemaitre) from the stable of Axel Kleinkorres will start. The Amaron son has had a mixed season so far. Although he won two races in Cologne, he did not finish above the midfield in most of his other starts. The German guest is supported by Hans Blume`s Wishuponastar (Anthony Crastus), who recently scored a bull`s eye in Le Croise-Laroche. The gelding was brought down to earth in Longchamp, where he finished last in a quinté handicap. Invincible Light (Gerald Mosse) cut a much better figure in that match, finishing fourth to confirm his previous victory on the same track. The latter, like Timotheus and Charlesquint (Gregory Benoist), who finished a good second to Cosmas (Rosario Mangione) in a similar fixture here on October 8, runs under maximum weight. Kenway (Hugo Journiac) is recommended by his fourth place here on March 1 in a `Classe 1`. On the same day, Parchemin (Mickael Barzalona) also ran and came in fourth behind Charlesquint and ahead of Thirsty (Maxime Guyon).
