Group 3 test for the two-year-olds

Paris-Vincennes, Saturday, 26 November: The youngest raceable yearling opens the nine-race event today on the Plateau de Gravelle. The two Group 3 races are separated by sex.

In the mares` Prix Vourasie (1st race/11.38 am/60,000 Euro/2200 m), there could be another three-way battle between Kana de Beylev (Eric Raffin), Kalamity d`Heripre (Franck Nivard) and Kyrielle (William Bigeon), who were among themselves in an `A` race here on 4 October. The still unbeaten Katchina de Simm (David Thomain) is running at Vincennes for the first time but should be a sharp performer. Karla de Mai (Alexandre Abrivard) was convincing in her triumph in the Prix de Milly-la-Foret (Course A) over Kinine de Montceau (Gabriel Pou Pou).

The stallions are under order in the Prix Timoko (2nd race/12.13 h/60,000 Euro/2200 m). After four wins in a row, everything speaks in favour of King Opera (William Bigeon), but Kamehameha (Eric Raffin) and Knockonwood (David Thomain), who were only just behind the Bigeon protégé in the Prix Louis Cauchois (Group 3), will not leave the field to him without a fight. Kataki de Wallis (Franck Nivard) suffered a gallop in his latest appearance, but overall presented himself as a reliable contender for the final. Canada (Theo Duvaldestin) showed that he can keep up well behind the favourites. Kurtiss (Adrien Ernault) comes into question for one of the front places without any faults.
