Breeders Cup in Keeneland

Keeneland, Friday, 4 November: Great sport will be on offer over two days in Keeneland. The meeting includes a total of 14 races for the Breeders Cup with international participation.

In the Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint (6th race/20.00/1 million US-$/1100 m) The Platinum Queen (Hollie Doyle) from Richard Fahey`s quarter could provide a European victory. The mare, who was most recently successful in the Prix de l`Abbaye de Longchamp (Group 1), will face strong domestic competition in the form of Love Reigns (Irad Ortiz Jr.), who announced himself strongly at Listed level for tonight`s assignment. The Richard Hannon-prepared Persian Force (Frankie Dettori), currently third in the Middle Park Stakes (Group 1), and Mischief Magic (William Buick), who follows just under a length behind, are other known quantities who should be up front.

In the Breeders` Cup Juvenile Turf (10th race/22.40pm/US$1m/1600m), Silver Knott (William Buick) is seen as the winner after his triumph in the Autumn Stakes (Group 3). The two-year-old is followed on the betting market by Victoria Road (Ryan Moore), a serial winner in the Prix de Conde. The guests have to be careful of Major Dude (Irad Ortiz jr.) and I`m Very Busy (Flavien Prat), who were among themselves in the Pilgrim Stakes (Group 2).
