Upscale sport in Chantilly

Chantilly, Sunday, 30 October: High-class sport will be on offer today at Chantilly, where the Prix Miesque (3rd race/13.23 h/80,000 Euro/1400 m) will be run as the first of two Group 3 races. The lot appeals to two-year-old mares. Here, the result of 8 October will be put to the test. In the Prix Saraca (list race), Eternal Dance (Mickael Barzalona) was clearly ahead against Moon Ray (Stephane Pasquier) and Lady Mia (Theo Bachelot). Showay (Anthony Crastus) and Blue Bayou (Jean-Bernard Eyquem) gave their visiting cards in the Grand Criterium de Bordeaux (List race).

Three-year-olds and older horses are under order in the Grand Prix du Nord (5th race/14.33 h/80,000 Euro/1200 m). Coeur de Pierre (Tony Piccone) was not far from victory in the Prix de l`Abbaye de Longchamp and held her ground in third place ahead of Mo Celita (Barry McHugh), who also performed very well in fourth. Ponntos (Theo Bachelot) also did well behind. Vadream (David Egan) ended not far from a better placing in the Champions Sprint Stakes (Group 1). Egot (Mickael Barzalona) won the Prix Palais-Royal at Group 3 level before his break.
