Aemilianus and Celestine in the Prix Herbager

Saint-Cloud, Monday, September 19: Good sport is on offer today to start the week at Saint-Cloud, where the Prix Herbager (4th race/15.35/35,000 euros/1600 m) catches the eye. The `Classe-1` test will be contested by nine three-year-old horses, two of which have a German background. Markus Klug saddles Aemilianus (Andrasch Starke), who has won twice. He will meet Celestine (Tony Piccone), who is prepared by Waldemar Hickst and recently won at high odds in Deauville. Pervade (Christophe Soumillon) is another horse with fresh winning form. The Graffard protégé is considered to have first chances as well as Missyouni (Aurelien Lemaitre) who has placed several times. Show Lights (Mickael Barzalona) ran her best races on the sand track in England, now she is expected to be in the front running for the first time in France. The list-proven One O`clock Jump (Stephane Pasquier) can win, as can the in-form Anobe (Jerome Cabre). Matt Machine (Clement Lecoeuvre) has to introduce himself here first.
