York, Saturday, 20 August: With a seven-race card the Ebor Meeting will be concluded today in York. The best match of the day is the City of York Stakes (3rd race/16.00/400,000 pounds/1408 m), which counts as Group 2.

Here the duel from Goodwood between Sandrine (David Probert) and Kinross (Frankie Dettori) will be renewed. Only a `short head` separated them in the Lennox Stakes (Group 2), so a reversal of form is not out of the question. Sacred (Tom Marquand) finished a close length behind in fifth in the same fixture and should give the first two a run for their money. Rohaan (Adam Kirby) was unfortunate to lose in the Prix Maurice de Gheest (Group 1). A top finish is within the realms of possibility for the Evans protégé, as it is for Al Suhail (William Buick), who has been off since Meydan, and Brad The Brief (David Egan), who has yet to lose a race under new management. Jumby (Jim Crowley) becomes interesting as winner of the Hungerford Stakes (Group 2).
