Will Runnymede stay on the winning track?

Vichy, Friday, 22 July: Another Listed race gets underway in Vichy today. In the Prix Jacques de Bremond (3rd race/14.50 h/52.000 Euro/1600 m) Runnymede (Rene Piechulek), trained by Sarah Steinberg for the Salzburg stable, tries to extend his winning streak.

The Dansili son has won three times in France this year, most recently a `Classe 1` in Longchamp against strong horses. He will be challenged by Pamouschana (Theo Bachelot), who announced herself emphatically as third in a Listed race for mares twelve days ago. Amedras (Eddy Hardouin) and Breizh Eagle (Ioritz Mendizabal) were mid-pack in the Prix de la Porte Maillot at Group 3 level. Both were expected to play a leading role. Integrant (Clement Lecoeuvre) and Reshabar (Mickael Barzalona) are in good form and conceivable far in front.
