Two Listed Races in Tarbes

Tarbes, Monday 25 July: A great event with higher quality races will take place in Tarbes today.

The first Listed race is aimed at two-year-old horses in the Critérium du Bequet (3rd race/14.23pm/60,000 euros/1100m). Lova (Maxime Guyon), who ran well in the Prix Robert Papin (Group 2), should be able to solve the task. Anna Karenine (Alexandre Gavilan) easily defeated Fancy Me (Ioritz Mendizabal) in La Teste-de-Buch. Both of them, like the already victorious Sister of Love (Maryline Eon), Ribera (Jean-Bertrand Eyquem) and Dabbiya (Cristian Demuro), are conceivable in front. The only stallion in the field is Souzak (Anthony Crastus), who has attracted attention with good placings so far.

The three-year-old mares are under order in the Prix la Sorellina (4th race/14.58 h/55,000 Euro/1500 m). Times Square (Maxime Guyon) hits it comparatively easy. The Ferland mare ran in the Poule d`Essai des Pouliches (Group 1) and finished an excellent third, but later came away empty-handed in the Prix de Diane (Group 1). Ataared (Cristian Demuro) ran without exception at today`s level this year and always returned to the stable with money. Also Gregarina (Sylvain Ruis) recently pleased at high odds as List second far ahead of Chausson`s Roses (Simon Planque). Anterselva (Tony Piccone) should do better this time than in the Prix Sandringham (Group 2).
