Derby winner Sammarco challenges Aga Khan mare in the Dallmayr Prize

Munich, Sunday, 31 July: Not only half of Munich is looking forward to this, but also many other fans of gallop sport: The race day for the Grand Dallmayr Prize (Group I, 155,000 Euros, 2,000 m) on Sunday in the city of the German record champion will again attract the public in droves.

One can look forward to Derby winner Sammarco who, due to the suspension of his winning rider Bauyrzhan Murzabayev, now competes with Rene Piechulek for the first time since his success in the race of the year and returns to a 400-metre shorter distance. Park Wiedinger from Peter Schiergen`s stable is of course a great addition to the race. In Horn he already left Queroyal (now with Adrie de Vries) clearly behind, but he might be better off on this track than over 2,400 metres. The Aga Khan mare Ebaiyra (C. Soumillon) solved a compulsory task sovereignly, but was even in front in Hong Kong and is the opponent for Sammarco. Dawn Intello (G. Mosse), also from France, impressed several times in Italy. Best of Lips (M. Seidl) delivered solid performances. The same goes for Rubaiyat (M. Cadeddu), who is engaged on an unusually long distance. Amazing Grace (A. Starke) had no problems at List level in Hamburg, but she can also achieve something here.

An Equalisation II leading over 2,000 metres also knows how to please. Flying Rocket (W. Panov) could continue his winning streak here. The quadruple bet with a guaranteed payout of 15,000 Euros is offered in the 8th race (Equalisation III, 1,600 metres). Clementine (W. Panov) and Kiki Dee (L. Wolff) are two of the possibilities. Races 1 to 6 of the total of nine competitions between 10:50 am and 3:35 pm are also part of the PMU programme.
