Two 70,000s for the three-year-olds

Paris-Vincennes, Friday, 10 June: Tonight`s event on the Plateau de Gravelle will focus on two Group 3 tests for horses of the European three-year-old age group that have not yet won 75,000 euros.

The stallions will be tested in the Prix de Gien (5th race/21.17pm/70,000 Euro/2700m). Josh Power (Benjamin Rochard) did well to finish third in the Prix Kalmia (Group 2) ahead of the flawed yearling leader Just A Gigolo. He is targeting his second career win after winning the Prix Libussa (Course A) here against Jacomo des Bots (Mathieu Mottier). Jazzy Dancer (Eric Raffin) comes in as surprise winner of the Prix Atlas (Group 3) ahead of Joker des Molles (Louis Baudouin), Jasmin du Vallon (Adrien Lamy) and Jasmin Merite (Gabriele Gelormini) for the very front. Javanais Delo (Alexandre Abrivard) is conceivable in the betting judging by the good spring performances. Just For Lova (Antoine Lherete) and Justin Bold (Jean-Francois Senet), who is used to success, as well as Dingo (Edoardo Loccisano) and Domingo Bar (Anthony Barrier), who arrive from Italy with fresh winning form, are other horses with chances.

In the Prix d`Istres (6th race/21.44 pm/70,000 Euro/2700 m) it is the mares` turn. Jerusalem (Matthieu Abrivard) and Junon (David Thomain), who finished third and fourth in the Prix Masina (Group 2), are eligible for the trifecta. Four wins in a row speak for Janka Somolli (Gabriele Gelormini). Most recently, she defeated Java du Pommeau (Francois Lagadeuc) and Joueuse du Mirel (Franck Ouvrie), who were both two lengths behind, at `B` level. Diva Del Ronco (Mario Minopoli jr.) and Joyce Beauty (Sylvain Dieudonné) made no impact on the closer decision in midfield. Dea Sprint Bar (Adrien Lamy) and Desdemona Sage (Anthony Barrier) deserve a hint despite low win totals.
