Amérique` second in Toulouse

Toulouse, Tuesday, 7 June: Well-kept harness racing is on offer today in Toulouse, where the Prix Toulouse Métropole-Dynavena Maisagri (4th race/18.30/53,000 Euro/2950 m) takes centre stage.

In this `Course Europeenne` for older horses, Looking Superb (Miodrag Pantic), who was only narrowly beaten in the Prix d`Amérique three years ago, will make his first start of the season in France. The glory days of the nine-year-old, who is now trained by Anders Lindqvist, are undoubtedly over and with allowance, the nine-year-old doesn`t have it easy anyway. Diego de Cahot (Alexandre Abrivard), who starts from the front, has a good chance of winning. In his most recent outing in Enghien at `B` level, the gelding narrowly missed out on full success, but remained well ahead of Temon Your Sm (Michaël-Jean Ruault), who surprisingly finished second here on 4 May ahead of Clyde Barrow (Cedric Terry) and Chini de l`Oison (Maxime Grasset). Fakir Merite (Franck Marty) is expected to be in the front running at the second start after the break and Fredo Griff (Patrice Gesret) can also take the win considering the favourable starting position.
