Spectacular start to the season in Munich!

Munich, Sunday, 01 May: The 2022 racing year will get off to a spectacular start at the Munich-Riem racecourse, as the Bavarian Classic (Group III, 55,000 Euros, 2,000 m) is one of the most important local preliminary tests for the Blue Riband, which will be held in Hamburg this year on 3 July.

It will be interesting to see who will be in the running for the top event. The match seems to be very open, because quite a few candidates still promise a lot of potential for improvement. Markus Klug is well prepared with four candidates, whereby So Moonstruck (A. Starke) will certainly enjoy a lot of confidence. Andreas Wöhler`s Maraseem (E. Nine races will be run in Riem between 11:20 am and 3:50 pm, races 1 to 4 are also part of the PMU card in France. In the Equaliser II over 2,000 metres, Siluto (M. Cadeddu) and Western Soldier (B. Murzabayev) bring fresh winning form.

The four-way bet with a guaranteed payout of 10,000 euros is offered in the 7th race (Maiden race, 1,600 metres). Here you should pay special attention to Emirate`s Flight (A. de Vries) and Vincero (P. Gibson).
