Cleangame with allowance, Elie de Beaufour from the front

Paris-Vincennes, Saturday 9 April: the first main event of today`s Plateau de Gravelle event addresses the older horses in the Prix Jean Riaud (7th race/17.35/90,000 euros/2850m). Clegs des Champs (David Thomain) is considered favourite after his victory in the Prix Henri Desmontils (Group 3) over Fire Cracker (Anthony Barrier) and Chalimar de Guez (Jeann-Yann Ricart). Diamant de Treabat (Clement Frecelle), who has always been a front-runner in the Monté business and who recently showed a superior performance in the Prix du Pontavice de Heussy (Group 3), cannot be ignored in the front-running field, just like Etoile de Bruyere (Adrien Lamy), who finished third in the Prix de Cornulier (Group 1).
