Nicky Henderson the man to follow today

the last few days have been all about Willie Mullins, but Nicky Henderson looks the man to follow today and we expect him to have winners at both U.K. jumps meetings. Best race of the day is the listed mares hurdle over 3 miles at 15.10 CET at Kempton, in which Henderson saddles Mayfair Music (David Bass) and Polly Peachum (Barry Geraghty), with the latter clearly favoured after her easy win at Wincanton. The obvious danger is L´Unique (Alan King/ Aidan Colerman) - especially at these weights, as she is 10 lbs better off with Polly Peachum compared to their running in April at Cheltenham. Polly won well enough that day and has possibly improved since, but there should be little between them this time. However his runners fare here, Henderson should certainly take the first two races at Kempton with West Wizard at 13.35 and River Maigue, both ridden by Geraghty, and also has a chance with New Horizons at 16.15 and Lough Kent (Nico de Bloinville) at 16.45, although in those races we prefer Brother Tedd (Philip Hobbs/ Richard Johnson) and German-bred Lyssio (Jim Best/ Jack Sherwood).
Henderson can also take the first two races at Ludlow with the Queen´s Jack Frost (Peter Carberry) at 13.50 and Tistory (Andrew Tinkler) at 14.20. Our best bet here however is Last Shot (Venetia Williams/ Liam Treadwell) in the handicap chase at 15.20; he was just touched off in this race last year and can make amends now.

Betting forecast:
1. Race: West Wizard - Alphabet Bay - Arzal
2. Race: River Maigue - Fayette County - Tango De Juilley
3. Race: Letemgo - Neville - Mister Snowball
4. Race: Polly Peachum - L`Unique - Clara Mc Cloud
5. Race: Frontier Spirit - King Edmund - Real Milan
6. Race: Brother Tedd - New Horizons - Dashaway
7. Race: Lough Kent - Theinval - Germany Calling
