the course at Leiceter has passed an early morning inspection and racing goes ahead, though obviously the going will be very testing. It could be significant that Tony McCoy is here for just one ride - Jonjo O´Neill´s Titchwood at 17.10. Obviously he has a chance, but this is a very tricky race with all 5 runners more or less equal. Our selection is Renard d´Irlande, who could be one of several winners for the red hot Venetia Williams/ Aidan Coleman team. We expect them also to close with Massena at 15.10, Browns Brook at 16.10 and Rydalis at 16.40. However these are all quite open handicaps, so nothing is certain. Our best bet here is Bin End (F Brennan/ Felix de Giles) at 15.40; he has not won for quite a while, but is very consistent and goes well here.
The meetings at Fontwell and Thurles (Ieland) have beern abandoned, as has tomorrow´s card at Sandown and Sunday´s at Ffos Las, and with the horrible weather still continuing, more cancellations seems likely.
