more Mullins winners at Wexford?

Willie Mullins has started bringing out his big guns for the new N.H. season and was rewarded with no fewer than 7 winners on Sunday. Today he saddles just two runners at Wexford, but both of them should score with Ruby Walsh in the saddle. Briar Hill is the most interesting runner of the day and will be at long odds-on for the maiden hurdle at 13.45 CET. He won both his bumpers and was particularly impressive when taking the Cheltenham Champion Bumper by 7 lengths. That is always a decent race, and he had previously shown that he can jump by winning a point-to-point, he looks a good thing to score on his hurdling debut, even though he has to concede 8 lbs all round. An hour later Mullins and Walsh are represented by Royal Moll in the mares novice hurdle at 14.45; she is also unbeaten after two starts under rules and can remain unbeaten, although Diyala (Gordon Elliott/ Barry Geraghty) could be a danger. There is another hot favourite in the maiden hurdle at 14.15, in which we expect Grey Monk (Henry de Bromhead/ Andrew Lynch) to defeat Lord of Lords (Edward O´Grady/ Geraghty).´
There is very little of interest in today´s 4 U.K. Meetings. The ground is very heavy at Lingfield while there are tiny fields at Fakenham (32 runners in 6 races). Seventh Hussar (Alison Batchelor/ Josh Moore) and Bathwick Junior (Michael Blake/ Tom Scudamore) at 15.50 are two recent winners on the heavy and can follow up under a penalty at Lingfield.
