No jumps racing today; Haydock, Taunton off tomorrow

There will be no jumps racing in Britain and Ireland today. Musselburgh was already called off yesterday and Chepstow has now been abandoned, following more overnight snow. We are left with 3 all-weather fixtures - Lingfield this afternoon, and this evening at Wolverhampton and Dundalk (Ireland). With more snow expected, even they are not 100% certain to go ahead, particularly Wolverhampton, which has had problems with snow in the past.

The outlook for tomorrow, especially the two big meetings at Ascot and Haydock, is also very unclear, while Towcester´s Sunday fixture has already been abandoned.

Update: Haydock´s Saturday fixture has now been abandoned. Taunton, who were due to stage their most valuable meeting ever, have also been forced to cancel tomorrow´s racing. Fingers crossed for Ascot.
