Richard Hughes seven-timer!

We predicted yesterday that Richard Hughes (photo) would have a good day at Windsor and tipped his 3 rides for his father-in-law Richard Hannon - but he certainly exceed expactations with seven winners! he thus became only the second jockey in British racing history to ride 7 winners on one card - Frankie Dettori with his "Magnificient Seven" at Ascot being the first. Frankie´s performance was better - they were much higher profile races and he went through the card (7 from 7) while there were 8 races at Windsor yesterday, and Hughes finished third on the favourite in one race. Still this was a great achievement by Richard - whose father Dessie trained the winner of the big chase in Ireland on Sunday- well done Hughsie!
