Galway Festival: day two

Our suggestion to back all Dermot Weld runners blind at Galway certainly paid off yesterday, when he saddled 3 winners who all paid more than predicted. Today he only has runners in the last 5 races, but the same betting tactics should again be profitable. His runners are: 18.00 CET 2 mile handicap: Weld has won the last 3 runnings and saddles the 3yo filly Voleuse de Coeurs (Pat Smullen) who looks very dangerous in this wide open race off her light weight 18.35 mile handicap: this time he hass the top weight Rock Critic (Smullen), who has won here twice at the Festival and can score for the third time.

19.10 2yo maiden fillies, Big Break (Smullen) makes her debut here; she is an own sister to the stable´s great performer Famous Name; obvious danger is Magical Dream (Aidan and Joseph O´Brien) 19.40 handicap, 7 furlongs (Smullen)- won at Dundalk last time, this looks much tougher, but trust in Weld 20.10 3yo maidens,7 furlongs,Storm Lightning (Smullen) no star, but recent run at Dundalk will have him right for this

Weld has no runners in the two races over jumps at the start of the card; Ruby Walsh can take both of these, with Zuzka for Willie Mullins at 17.00 and Devil´s Elbow for his father at 17.30.
