Cheltenham: Champion Chase

The Cheltenham Festival now goes into the second day, with the Queen Mother Champion Chase over 2 miles at 16.20 CET the main feature. There was an Irish result here a year ago, with Sizing Europe (Harry de Bromhead/ Andrew Lynch) beating Big Zeb (Colm Murphy/ Robbie Power) and these two could well fight out the finish since more. However Sizing Europe has beaten his old rival again since and he looks a good thing to score again today. Finian´s Rainbow (Nicky Henderson/ Barry Geraghty), although put into his place by Somersby last time, could now be his main British-trained rival, although we would not be surprised to see German-bred Gauvain (Nick Williams/ Noel Fehily), who runs his best races over this CD, run into a place at a big price.
