more low level racing at the fiv U,.K. meetings today, but at least we have two listed races at Tipperary. The first one is over 5 furlongs at 19.15 CET and features many familiar names. Inxiile (David and Adrian Nicholls) is a specialist for such events, but we prefer Sole Power (Eddie Lynam/ Wayne Lordan), who is not far off the best sprinters around. The 2yo event at 20.20 should go to Aidan O´Brien, who saddles 3 of the 8 runners. They all met here last month, with Furners Green (Joseph O´Brien) winning comfortably, and he can probably follow up here.
Today is the third and final day of Brighton´s August meeting and the top event is the 6 furlongs handicap at 16.30. Lady Florence (DCGriffiths/ Adrian McCarthy) won here yesterday and Clear Ice (Gay Kelleway/ Chris Catlin) on Wednesday; if they turn out again, thy must both have a good chance of following up.
