4 low level meetings

very humdrum racing at today´s 4 meetings, two this afternoon on the flat and 2 this evening over jumps.
The most interesting event is the handicap over the straight mile at 16.35 CET at Redcar, with 12 runners. Boom and Bust (Marcus Tregoning/ Hayley Turner) has won both his starts this season and is our selection here, even though the handicapper has put him up 16 lbs. He is still quite lightly raced and looks as though he can improve further. David Nicholls runs 3 here, with son Adrian partnering Cara´s Request; he could be the best of them, but his 2011 form so far is poor. More dangerous could be the two oldtimers Just Bond (Geoff Oldroyd/ Paul Mulrennan) and Collateral Damage (Tim Easterby/ David Allan), who are both capable of running well off this rating and are both CD winners. Best bet at Redcar should be Set Me Free (Luca Cumani/ Kieren Fallon), who runs in the mile maiden at 17.45, but he is likely to start at a very short price.
At Saisbury, the fillies handicap over 10 furlongs at 17.30 could go to Miss Chicane (Walter Swinburn/ Luke Morris), a winnr at Sandown last time, but well-bred Istishaara (John Dunlop/ Richard Hills), who beat her when they met last September, could be a big danger.
This evening, Jonjo O´Neill and Tony McCoy could land a double at Southwell with Sentimental Journey at 20.20 (holds Sara´s Smile on latest form) and lightly-raced Abnaki at 21.30. In the latter vnt German-
bred Moon Melody (Mike Sowersby/ Campbell Gillies) could be an interesting each-way alternative off bottom weight. He has a poor strike rate, but goes well on fast ground and stays this distance really well.
