Mark Johnston to continue winning run

Yorkshire trainer Mark Johnston has his string in tremendous form; 7 of his last 10 runners have won, and in fact he boasts a strike rate of over 50% on the all-weather this year. We expect him to improve this record today with two more winners at Lingfield, Bailey´s Agincourt in the 10 furlongs maiden at 15.20 CET and Luckbealadytonight in the 3yo handicap at 16.25, both partnered by Joe Fanning.

The card at Lingfield is otherwise undistinguished, and the same goes for the evening meeting at Wolverhampton - with one exception. The 6 furlongs conditions race at 20.00 has only 6 runners but all of them have useful all-weather form to their credit. Atlantic Story (Mick Easterby/ Phillip Makin) and Brave Prospector (Jane Chapple-Hyam/ Tom Queally) share top weight but they are also the highest-rated in the field and we expect them to fight out the finish.
