All-weather racing at Lingfield and Kempton

Very modest cards at today´s two all-weather meetings, Lingfield in the afternoon and Kempton in the evening, with quite a few jockeys riding at both tracks. At Lingfield the mile race for maiden fillies at 14.55 CET could be interesting, but we expect either Bow River Arch (Jeremy Noseda/ Chris Catlin) or Lady Rosamunde (Marcus Tregoning/ Hayley Turner) to come out on top; both of them were placed on each of their starts in the autumn of last year. The five furlings handicap here at 15,30 here can go to bottom weight Estonia (Michael Squance/ Luke Morris), who lost his chance last time over CD by running very wide on the bend. Main danger is consistent Even Bolder (Eric Wheeler/ Liam Jones), placed in his last 4 races.

At Kempton, the 2 mile handicap at 20.00 is the most competitive race. Porgy (David Simcock/ Jamie Spencer) won well here last time over 1 1/2 miles but is untested at this trip. Benhego (Gary Moore/ George Baker) made a decent comeback in December after 19 months off, and has a good chance off his old form, while On Terms (Simon Dow/ Hayley Turner) last ran in a listed race at Ascot in September; she was well beaten obviously but 3 of her 4 wins have come at this distance. However our main hope is Dalhaan (Luke Dace/ Martin Lane), an easy CD winner 3 weeks ago and now 8lbs higher in the weights.
