Two N.H. fixtures today!

For the first time in ages, there are two British N.H. meetings on today - at Folkestone and Catterick. However the big Irish meeting at Punchestown has been abandoned (for the fourth time!); some of the races will be run next Monday (weather permitting), but the Grade One John Durkan Memorial will be added to tomorrow´s card at Fairyhouse (also already abandoned 4 times, but prospects looking better).

Tomorrow´s British cards, at Bangor and Newbury (including the Peterborough Chase from Huntingdon´s abandoned meeting last week) also look safe, but the bad news is that there is expected to be a return to the frosty weather later in the week, leaving for example the Saturday meetings at Ascot, Haydock and Navan in serious doubt.
