All-weather racing at Lingfield and Southwell

There is also flat racing on the all-weather at Lingfield and Southwell, although strictly speaking, the Southwell fixture is also N.H., as all 6 races are so-called "jumpers bumpers" over 2 miles. At a similar meeting here last Wednesday Alan Swinbank stole the show with 3 winners, all ridden by Barry Keniry, and all 3 show up again: Priceless Art at 14.20 CET, Bivouac at 15.30 and First Rock at 16.35.

They all scored easily enough so it will be no surprise if they all go in again, although Bivouac in particular faces much tougher opposition this time. The best race however is at 16.05, where the field includes such classy performers as Kalahari King (Ferdy Murphy/ Paul Gallagher) and Palomar (Brian Ellison/ Fearghal Davis).

At Lingfield, Marcus Tregoning and Hayley Turner can land a short-priced double on Lady Rosamunde at 13.05 and Talayeb at 15.15, while the 6 furlongs handicap at 14.40 looks very tricky. The 3 top-weights Secret Asset (Jane Chapple-Hyam/ George Baker), Love Delta (Mark Johnston/ Greg Fairley) and Piscean (Tom Keddy/ Shane Kelly) look the most likely contenders.
