N.H. racing at Haydock, Towcester and Thurles (Ireland)

there are very few highlights at today´s 3 jumps meetings, but it is good to see Jason Maguire make his comeback from injury at Haydock . In our opinion he has three winning chances, on Al Qeddaaf in the opening novice hurdle at 14.30 CET, Ernst Blofeld in the handicap chase at 15.05, and Lively Baron in another novice hurdle at 16.50, all of them trained by Donald McCain.

Tony McCoy and trainer Jonjo O´Neill could be the team to follow at Towcester, and they can score with Fiddlededee in the novice hurdle at 14.10, Aztec Treasure in the handicap chase at 15.20, and Mister Hyde in the handicap hurdle at 15.55.

The best race of the day is the Thurles Chase over 2 3/4 miles at 14.40. There are only 5 runners, but 4 of them good form in top races. At these weights we prefer Glencove Marina (Eion Griffin/ Barry Geraghty). Two more possible winners at the Irish track are Bob Lingo (Tom Mullins/ Mark Walsh) in the beginners chase at 14.05, and Style of Campile (Noel Meade/ Paul Carberry), both of whom ran very well against strong opposition last time out.
