German runners in France today

German-trained runners have been very successful in recent days in France and have more chances today at both Saint-Cloud and Fontainebleau´s evening meeting. In our opinion, Ustilago (Werner Baltromei/ Dominique Boeuf) has easily the best chance of them. He runs in the listed Prix Turenne for 3yo ´s over 2400 metres at 13.20 CET. The highly rated Lando colt runs here in preference to the Preis von Europa on Sunday.

Mashoor (André Fabre/ Maxime Guyon) looks his most dangerous opponent. He has been off since running up to the smart Goldwaki at Chantilly on Diane day, but has never yet been out of the first two. Speartooth and Zack Hall are next best. Baltromei also has each-way chances with Königstreue (Boeuf) and Crossbill (Guyon) in two divisions of the mile handicap at 14.25 and 15.30 respectively.

Baltromei´s Debussy (Theo Bachelot) could also run well in the 1800 metres handicap at 18.30 at Fontainebleau.
