Rest of Punchestown

with Willie Mullins in such great form, it can be expected that there be more winners for the stable today, and he has 2 runners, both with chances, in the 4yo hurdle at 17.20 CET- Doctor Deejay (Paul Townend) and the unbeaten Final Approach (David Casey). The danger is Dermot Weld´s Sublime Talent, a winner on the flat last week, who is making his debut over sticks but is certain to be well schooled.

Mullins also has two runners in the novice hurdle over 3 miles at 17.55, Rhyl Accord (Davy Condon) and Definitive Edge (Townend), but last time they finished well behind Magnanimity (Dessie Hughes/ Davy Russell) and Rigour Back Bob (Edward O´Grady/ Andrew McManara); the last-named now has a nice pull in the weights and can win this time.

The other big race on the card is the Champion I.N.H. Flat Race at 19.05, in which the Mullins family could also end up in the winners enclosure with Tavern Times (Tom and Patrick Mullins), who was 4th in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham with several of these behind. Shot from the HIp (O´Grady/ JP Magnier) was one of them; the Monsun 6yo was very heavily backed at Cheltenham, but failed to give his running after being far too keen in the early stages; he is worth another chance today.

Betting forecast:
1. Race: Rahan De Marcigny - Sivota - Coliseum
2. Race: Final Approach - Son Amix - Doctor Deejay
3. Race: Magnanimity - Rhyl Accord - Rigour Back Bob
4. Race: Denman - Cooldine - Joncol
5. Race: Hidden Universe - Shot From The Hip - Tavern Times
6. Race: Jayo - Stewarts House - Four Chimneys
7. Race: Dun Doire - Kilty Storm - Beantown
