Schnakenbergs at Cagnes

Elfi Schnakenberg sends her talented young hurdler Soverness on the long journey from northern Germany to the South of France today to run over 3900 metres at 15.25 at the winter meeting at Cagnes-sur-mer. Soverness, who will be ridden by the trainer´s son Oliver, has won his last two races, but faces stiff opposition here, his eleven opponents including several with good form from Auteuil - two of them even Group One winners! However he is an improving sort, who could well run a good race at a decent price.
