More German-breeds running here are Sadlers Star, Weststern and Bocciani, who all contest the novices handicap hurdle at 15.00 and each come with decent form. At Gowran Park, there is an all-hurdles card and Andrew McNamara looks the jockey to follow and he can take the opening 3yo race on Alaivan, a listed winner on the flat, and the maiden hurdle at 14.45 with German-bred Belord, both for trainer Edward O´Grady, and also the novice race at 14.10 with Luska Lad, another odds-on flop last time out and now on a retrieving mission.
