Lexus Chase now this afternoon

Leopardstown´s main feature yesterday, the Grade One Lexus Chase, over 3 miles, had to be abandoned at short notice when the track was hit by a sudden blanket of fog, and will now be run this afternoon at 14.25 CET. The field of 12 remains the same, but there will be several jockey changes: Paul Townend now rides Cooldine, one of the main Irish hopes, and Sam Thomas probably partners Paul Nicholls´ What a Friend. It is not yet cler who will ride Voy por Ustedes. Ruby Walsh, Barry Geraghty and Robert Thornton, booked for these 3 runners respectively, are all due to ride at Newbury today.
