Kelso (N.H.), Warwick (N.H.) and Lingfield (a.w.)

As so often, the Sunday cards in the U.K. are not very exciting and easily the best race is the valuable Totesport.com Chase over 3 miles at Warwick at 14.40 CET. Although there is only a small field, this could be quite a race with Our Vic (David Pipe/ Timmy Murphy), Don´ t Push It (Jonjo O´Neill/ Tony McCoy) and My Will (Paul Nicholls/ Nick Scholfield) all in the line-up. An hour earlier, Nicky Henderson can continue his winning run with Aigle d´Or in the beginners chase. Main event at Kelso is the Scottish Borders National over 4 miles at 15.20. Several of the runners come into the race in good form, but the extreme distance on this very soft ground will find some of them out, and we gofor the two dour stayers Royal Rosa (Howard Johnson/ Denis O Regan) and L´Aventure (Nick Williams/ Daryl Jacob). Earlier, Knockara Beau and Money Trix can land a short-priced double at 13.50 and 14.20. The all-weather card at Lingfield has bigger fields, but is short on quality. The best be tting race here is the 6 furlongs handicap at 15.30. Brandywell Boy (Derek ffrench Davis/ Billy Cray) won over this CD last time out by a head from Billy Red (John Jenkins/ Fergus Sweeney), but the latter is now 3 lbs better off and can take his revenge.
