Ffos Las (N.H.) and Kempton (a.w.)

Two meetings left today, and the new Welsh track at Ffos Las offers easily the better card. The German-bred Sweet Shock (MichaelO´Hare/ Andrew Lynch) is an interesting runner in the novice hurdle at 14.05 CET. An easy winner of a Naas bumper, he might be good enough here, although the penalised On Borrowed Wings (Alan Fleming/ Timmy Murphy) as well as Sleepy Hollow (Hughie Morrison/ Tom Scudamore) also have chances. Quattrocento (Peter Bowen/ Richard Johnson) has an obvious chance in the 3 mile handicap chase half an hour later after his good second place at Doncaster, though Nicky Henderson´s Zanzibar Boy (Tony McCoy) looks dangerous off bottom weight, even though he has not run since March. The latter´s team can score with Gold Award in the handicap hurdle at 16.15, where German-bred Walamo (Tim Vaughan/ Johnson) has a each-way chance. The handicap hurdle at 15.10 looks tougher. The Jigsaw Man (Rebecca Curtis/ David Devereux) has won 4 of his 5 starts, but meets better oppo sition this time, and we prefer Helens Vision (AP Boxhall/ Peter Toole), while Wine´n Dine (Bernard Llewellyn/ Daryl Jacob) could also go well at a decent price.
