All-weather racing at Lingfield and Wolverhampton

Today´s two all-weather meetings offer little in the way of good betting opportunities. but we expect the two divisions of the race for 2yo maiden fillies at Lingfield to go to Elvira Madigan (Andrew Balding/ Liam Keniry) at 13.10 CET and Fashion Insider (Brian Meehan/ Martin Dwyer) at 14.15, both of whom ran with promise on their debuts.

The mile handicap at 15.25 looks very tricky, but we might take a chance with Orchard Supreme (Richard Hannon/ Richard Hughes), who has been dropped in the weights following some sub-par performances, but usually runs well at this track. Several of the jockeys riding here travel up to Wolverhampton for the evening meeting, and Liam Keniry can score here with Stan Moore´s Southandwest in th 8 1/2 furlongs at 21.50. The 5 furlongs handicap that closes the card at 22.20 looks wide open, but we fancy the 3 bottom-weights, Cayman Fox, Perlachy and Fantasy Fighter, could be the 3 to beat.
