Irish racing today

Big Zeb (Colm Murphy/ Barry Geraghty) needs only to reproduce the form shown when narrowly beaten by Master Minded at Punchestown in April to win the main event, the Grade Two Fortria Chase at 15.30 CET. The Grade Three novice hurdle at 14.25 can go to Judge Roy Bean (Edward O´Grady/ Andrew McNamara), an easy Galway winner last time, while the two other feature races can go to German-breds: the Grade two hurdle at 13.55 to either Aitmatov (Noel Meade/ Paul Carberry) or Noble Prince (Paul Nolan/ Aidan Cawley), and the listed novice chase at 16.30 to Catch Me (O´Grady/ McNamara). Surprisingly Ruby Walsh is at Limerick, mainly to ride Willie Mullins´ Morning Supreme in the maiden hurdle for 6yo´s + at 15.40. Mullins can also take a similar race for 5yo´s at 14.05 with another smart bumper horse, Quinola des Obeaux (Emmett Mullins).
