German runners in France today

There was another German winner in France yesterday and there could well be more today at Compiegne, a track in easy reach of the German border, where no fewer than 15 German-trained runners try their luck on n all-apprentice race card. All 4 races in which the Germans run are claiming reces. Amuse Gueule (Werner Baltromei/ Frankie Leroy) and Kadmeia (Waldemar Hickst/ Romain Perruchot) run in the 2800 metres event for 3Yo´s at 13.55, and Astronom (Baltromei/ Leroy), Event Dash (Norbert Sauer/ Anthony Caramanolis), Marangu (Waldemar Hickst/ Williams Saraiva) and Principe Urumonte (Mario Hofer/ Jerome Claudic) all contest the mile race for 3yo´s at 14.55.
